After you pay: tickets, refunds and cancelled events

What happens right after I pay?

Your order is confirmed straight away, and your e-ticket is emailed to you in the same step that confirms your payment. It carries a QR code, and it's yours to keep - there's nothing further to do.

Where is my ticket?

Check the inbox for the email address you actually typed at checkout, including your spam or promotions folder. It comes from Stubbs Tickets, not from the organisation directly, so search for "Stubbs" if you can't find it by the event name.

If it still isn't there, see my ticket has not arrived.

Can I get a refund?

That's the organiser's decision for their own event, not something we decide on their behalf. If they agree to refund you, it goes back to the card you paid with - never a credit or a voucher.

If your order included more than one thing - a ticket plus a programme, say - and only part of it is refunded, the parts are refunded in the same proportion you paid them in. Any donation you added is treated as a gift and is not included in a partial refund.

Ask the organiser directly using the contact details on the organiser's page, or reply to any email you've had from them about this event.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

Every paid order is refunded automatically - you do not need to ask. It usually happens within a few minutes of the organiser cancelling, and you'll get an email once your refund has gone through.

Do I need to bring anything on the day?

Just your ticket. The QR code on it is what gets scanned at the door, and showing it on your phone works exactly the same as printing it. Bring whichever is easiest for you.

Can I change the name on my ticket, or move to a different date?

That's up to the organiser, since it's their event. Reply to any email you've had about it, or check the organiser's page - most organisers list a way to reach them there.
