A good Christmas fair poster does one job: it tells a parent walking past the school gate what is on, when, and why they should come. Pick a festive design below, type in your date, times and the best things at your fair, and download it to print. Change anything you like; nothing is saved until you want it.

Tips for a Christmas fair poster that gets people through the door
- Make the day, the time and the place the biggest words after the name of the fair. Most people read a poster while walking past it.
- Name your three or four best attractions, such as the grotto, the tombola, the raffle and the cake stall. A short list sells a fair better than a long one.
- Say how people pay on the day, whether that is cash, card or token cards, so nobody turns up without the right thing.
- Put posters where parents wait: the school gates, the playground fence, the church noticeboard and, if they agree, the shop window of your local newsagent.
- Use Download for social media to share the same poster in class WhatsApp groups and on your Facebook page, so the poster and the post look like one event.
